Jermaine is originally from Berlin and has been part of HÄRTING Rechtsanwälte since January 2022. Within the litigation team, he advises and represents clients in complex disputes, particularly at the intersection of traditional litigation and digital matters.
He completed his legal education bilingually: after obtaining the Baccalauréat and the German Abitur at the Lycée français in Berlin, he studied German-French Law in Potsdam and Paris. Following his First State Examination, his legal traineeship took him to the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court, with placements including the Federal Foreign Office, before concluding with the Second State Examination.
Alongside his legal practice, Jermaine is pursuing a part-time Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Legal Informatics at the University of Passau. The program provides in-depth, practice-oriented knowledge in software engineering, computer science, and software contract law, thereby strengthening his expertise in the legal support of digital projects.
In his free time, Jermaine trains in Muay Thai, regularly takes part in running events, and pursues his lifelong passion for foreign languages.
