In his doctoral thesis, *Distribution Organisation Law in German-South African Trade*, Dr Ole Schröder examines issues relating to distribution law in international commercial relations between Germany and South Africa.

The thesis examines the legal framework within which companies organise their distribution structures in cross-border trade relations. It addresses issues relating to commercial law, distribution law and international business law.

German-South African trade constitutes a particular area of study because it brings together different legal systems, economic interests and practical distribution models. The doctoral thesis provides a legal framework for these constellations, thereby laying the foundations for the assessment of international distribution organisations.

This publication highlights Dr Ole Schröder’s early focus on international commercial law and combines comparative legal perspectives with practical issues relating to cross-border trade relations.
