The Consultative Committee (Chapter V – Convention No 108 of the Council of Europe) has submitted a Draft Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence.

The aim of the guidelines is to prevent and avoid the negative effects on individuals and society that technological innovation can have. At the same time, the development of Artificial Intelligence should be guaranteed and facilitated, focusing on respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The five-page document contains general recommendations. These are divided into (1) general recommendations and recommendations (2) for governments and (3) for developers, manufacturers and service providers.
