The 4th HÄRTING AI Day will take place in Berlin on 19 November 2026. Over the course of the day, we will be exploring current issues relating to artificial intelligence, the AI Act, data protection and the practical application of AI in businesses.

4th AI Day – AI in (Legal) Practice

AI Day brings together experts from the fields of supervision, regulation, corporate practice and the AI industry. The focus is on how AI can be deployed in a way that is not only technically sound, but also legally compliant, strategic and practical.

AI has long since become part of everyday business life. At the same time, the legal and organisational requirements are becoming more specific: companies must grapple with the AI Act, data protection regulations, internal responsibilities, governance structures, liability issues and practical implementation processes. We are now building on this for the fourth time with the HÄRTING AI Day.

Look forward to a day featuring legal analysis, case studies from corporate practice, perspectives from regulatory bodies and opportunities for discussion. As always, the focus is not on abstract debates about principles, but on specific practical issues.

Tickets: Until 31 August 2026, a limited number of early-bird tickets are available at a special price of €150 plus VAT. You’ll save €50 compared to the regular net ticket price. Free cancellation is possible up to one week before the event.

What it’s all about

The 4th HÄRTING AI Day will focus, amongst other things, on the following questions:

  • How will the AI Act specifically affect businesses?
  • What data protection requirements must be observed when using AI?
  • What governance structures do companies need to ensure the responsible use of AI?
  • How can AI projects be supported from a legal perspective without unnecessarily hindering innovation?
  • What experiences have companies already had with implementing AI applications?
  • And how can AI be used in a way that is legally compliant, strategic and, at the same time, practical?

Who will find the AI Day of interest?

The AI Day is aimed at anyone who is responsible for, supports or needs to provide legal guidance on AI within their organisation. The event is of particular interest to lawyers, legal departments, data protection and compliance officers, senior management, strategy and innovation teams, AI leads, product teams and consultants.
